Did You Know It’s Time to Redesign Your Website?

You probably got your website up on the internet for many reasons. Some of them may be to attract visitors, generate sales, convert leads – while others may be intended for business growth etc. The question is, “are those reasons being fulfilled?” if your answer is no, you are in deep trouble and should better be concerned about your website and start thinking of its redesigning.

Look critically at you website and be sure to consider redesigning it if:

Your design is repulsive

Put yourself in your visitor’s shoes and then analyze your website. Is it attractive at first instance? Is the design able to grab your attraction? If you think there are some designing weaknesses, get them fixed immediately.

All elements are telling their own story

When the layout of your website seems to be falling apart and no one component is matching with the other, you should know it is time to pay some attention. Lack of organization is a turn off for your visitor who may be in a hurry and wants things right at place and in front of the eye. Moreover, to be catchy; your design, colors, content, fonts and arrangement should be well organized and connected.

Complex navigation

Is the navigational structure on your website easy and clear? Your website must be user-friendly and for that it is important the navigational links and menus are active and positioned at proper places. Keep the main navigations where they are throughout the website, don’t keep them moving by positioning them at different place each time a new page is opened by the visitor.

It gives an old-fashioned look

It’s the internet era; concepts evolve, innovate and diminish before you even know. So make sure you have equipped your website with all the latest features present in the market. You would not want to lose the technology race, so keep up with the updates. Make sure the images used are not obsolete and the content is up to mark with new dates.

The website does not represent you

It is important to make your visitors know where they have come. A website is you and your company’s online personality. It reflects the product and services you provide, and speaks on your behalf. Make sure, your website is fully representing you and your business. You don’t want to miss on an opportunity to gain customers just because your website is poorly designed!

Your competitive edge is not obvious

Sadly, the worst website is the one that reflects nothing new. Every company and business is unique and there is always some competitive edge of one on another. The need is to make your website reflect that competitive edge. If your website fails to do so, I would suggest you need to drastically redesign your online identity.
